Perth -- Western Australia

From the 25th of December to the 1st of January I was in Perth, WA. I visited a friend from Norway there and could see a bit of Perth. It's quite different in the West, more dry and hotter.
We had some days with up to 39 degrees. Here some pictures:

a few minutes after takeoff; sydney from the air :)

Arrival in Perth in the evening

On that day Conrad, the friend I was staying with organized a bushwalk with some other youth. The bush looks quite different though from what I am used to.

After the walk we jumped int this beautiful natural pool. It was wonderful refreshing :)
On that very morning we went for the walk ther was the second deadly shark attack in Australia for 2008 just close to Perth. Reality is that because I came over to Perth, conrad organised this bushwalk. Some of the boys had planed to go to that beach on that morning where the shark attack took palce, but because they where invited by Conrad they decided not to go. I believe this was God's providence!

imprisoned in Freemantle;)
